How do you solve the problem?

Do you remember that song from The Sound of Music?

Of course, they never tried to *answer* the question -
they just kept asking it in different ways!

Isn't that pretty much what we do when we worry though?
We fret, scratch our heads, pace the room, constantly
asking and ruminating on whatever is bothering us.

Does the problem go away? Of course not!

There always IS an answer of course. Name any human
problem and you'll always be able to find someone who
solved virtually the same thing at some time, because
we all have the same needs. Watch the TV soaps for
long enough, and you'll see the same themes repeated
again and again.

The trouble is, when your mind is filled with worried
thoughts, you have no room for any other kind, do you?
It's like an ever repeating loop tape is playing inside
your head.

Somehow they bypass all your worried thoughts and
negative beliefs, and they speak directly to your
subconscious, which is, after all, the source of your
solutions and creative ideas, isn't it?

Worry can steal your life. I hope you know that you're
worth more than that!

I do
